Foundations of today’s Kale Iplik Sanayi ve Dis Ticaret A.S. have been laid when the first company of the group Firat Elyaf Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S started marketing the fiber home and abroad via recycling the textile raw materials and ready-made wastes in 1998. In 2002, Kale Iplik A.S. has been established with monthly 700 tons of Regenerated Cotton-Blended, Colored Yarn capacity in totally 14.000 m2 covered area in Marmara Ereglisi (TEKIRDAG) and started to perform. Kale Iplik A.S. is the parent company of the group and its main activity is yarn production. Firat Elyaf A.S., which is the other company of group, engages in raw material production and raw material purchase and sale; Fiberteks A.S. operates about the marketing of manufactured yarn to domestic and abroad. In these fields of activities, group employs totally 225 persons. With its technologically superior production track and modern operational area, and with its environment-friendly production, Kale Iplik A.S. has ranked first within the sector in a short time in “Regenerated Cotton-Blended, Colored Yarn”. Kale Iplik A.S., exports 60% of its “Regenerated Cotton-Blended, Colored Yarn” production to more than 40 countries across the world especially to Europe, Middle East and USA, the remaining 40% is offered to the domestic market. Company constantly renews itself and stays up-to-date with its “Firstly Environment!” principle, its sense of responsibility in production, its outstanding service mentality and its sensibility towards R&D and technologic innovations. Kale Iplik A.S. has decided to reflect its gained knowledge and experience to different yarn types and has started the manufacturing of NYLON and POLYESTER Air covered yarn production from POY as of January 1, 2011. It currently manufactures 200 tons in Air covered yarn, sells 40% of its production to abroad, and remaining 60% to domestic market.
